THE HOLY CITY ARCHERS
THANK YOU for YOUR SUPPORT
Tragedy This Past Season
This past season, The Holy City Archers had their team equipment trailer stolen. Our trailer contained over $10,000.00 worth of equipment, not to mention the trailer itself. Inside was the entirety of our equipment & supplies, including:
-
16 team bows & cases
-
three bow racks
-
600 arrows
-
15 tournament targets
-
six 3D targets (a complete set of Rinehart Targets)
-
a 250' x 25' safety back drop with frame
-
scanner for tournament scoring (Datalink 1200 scanner for scoring)
-
28 quivers
-
repair equipment
-
last, but not least the 6' x 12' trailer
Our team lost everything -just ten days before the state tournament. While this was a devastating moment for our team, we were blessed to watch so many people in our community and beyond come together and help us get back on our feet.
Other archery teams offered up their practice areas, so our archers could practice before the state tournament. We had schools sharing equipment. Many businesses showed up to help us get back on our feet.
Through the generosity of others, we are about 50% recovered from our loss.
We would like to thank these generous people for showing our students that even during a turbulent time, there are kind people willing to help. It really made our students feel supported and loved. THANK YOU!
How You Can Help
Our team is still being rebuilt, and we hope to have everything we need to begin again this fall.
We are about 50% of the way there with equipment. We are still lacking with some important supplies, including a trailer. (We have to transport our equipment to and from our practice location.)
If you feel led to make a donation and help us rebuild, all of the students would be very grateful. Holy City Archers is comprised of over 50 archers and three levels of teams: elementary, middle school, and high school.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
